THE AMERICAN CREAM WAS THE AMAZING PRODUCT OF THREE KINDS OF FINE DOGS, SELECTED FOR THEIR ABILITY TO FUNCTION AS SERVICE DOGS FOR THE BIND AND HANDICAPPED.
THIS IS SUSI Q, MY AMERICAN CREAM.
SHE ASTOUNDED PEOPLE WITH HER ABILITY TO FUNCTION IN MANY WAYS AS A SERVICE DOG.
SHE WAS LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER.
WE HAD TO STOP BREEDING 'ACEYS' BECAUSE WE DIDN;T HAVE A WIDE ENOUGH GENETIC BASE, LARGELY BECAUSE BUHUND BREEDERS REFUSED TO COOPERATE. THE RESULT WAS A GENETIC DISORDER THAT CAUSED OUR BREEDING PROGRAM TO GRIND TO A HALT.
IT TOOK 15 YEARS TO GET 'ACEYS' --AND THEY WERE ALL REMARKABLE DOGS.
LIMITED FINANCIALLY NOW, DUE TO LIVING IN EXILE, I AM UNABLE TO BREED THESE DOGS ANYMORE, BUT HOPE THAT OTHERS WILL TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE. THE DOG IS SMALLER THAN A LAB, BUT HEALTHY, STRONG, AMAZINGLY INTELLIGENT, AND A LOVING, DEVOTED COMPANION.
THE AMERICAN CREAM IS APPROX. 1/4 Border Collie...PLUS...
The result:
the American cream, after six generations. (Too much inbreeding must not occur -- there must be a generous gene pool!)
those who say we shouldn't strive for new breeds should consider the fact that the American Cream has all the great characteristics of the lab, but is only 2/3's the size. We have saved DNA from Suzi Q, who has now passed away after 13 years of service (her life was shortened by Rimidyl poisoning, an anti-arthritic agent manufactured by Pfizer, which shouldn't be on the market....I am not a person who believes in suing people, but believe me, I was sorely tempted to join a general lawsuit against Pfizer in this matter...she suffered terribly from Rimidyl, and had to be put to sleep, though she was healthy and strong before being given this medication....she had been in an accident involving an elevator, and Rimidyl was prescribed as a pain reliever....it killed my service dog. The vet apologized for 'not reading the warning label' which happened to be in a foreign language....).
ANYONE WANTING A DNA SAMPLE OF SUZI Q: WRITE TO VOICE4VINDICATION@YAHOO.COM
BECAUSE OF THIS DOG'S ACHIEVEMENTS, THROUGH A FINE VET IN DALLAS, SEVERAL UNIVERSITIES NOW HAVE SAMPLES OF HER DNA.
